1911 Gold Corporation has completed the dewatering of A-Shaft and Level 26 at its wholly owned True North Gold Project in southeast Manitoba, marking a shift to active underground infrastructure commissioning ahead of a planned 2027 production decision.

The completed dewatering of Level 26 contrasts with April 2026, when operations had only reached approximately four metres below the level. With the shaft fully dewatered, 1911 Gold has rehabilitated the A-Shaft hoist rope compartments, installed a refurbished skip, and advanced the rehabilitation of the underground loading pocket.

The company reported that the Level 16-to-26 ore pass chute is fully operational, establishing a critical material handling link for test mining stopes scheduled for this fall. In addition, 1911 Gold has awarded an underground development contract to SCR Mining & Tunnelling, deploying crews and specialized mobile equipment to the Bissett site.

Surface and processing infrastructure upgrades are advancing alongside underground readiness. The primary ball mill and a new freshwater system are commissioned, and the on-site assay laboratory has completed initial test-work. Concrete foundations for a new surface primary crusher building are finished, with major Westpro processing equipment scheduled for delivery by mid-November 2026.

The true North mine and mill complex includes a fully permitted 1,300 tonne-per-day processing facility designed to handle material from the project and nearby operations across the company's approximately 62,000-hectare Rice Lake property. A global mineral resource estimate combining drilling across True North and the Ogama-Rockland deposit is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026.
