A.I.S. Resources Limited has completed the initial portion of its Phase 1 diamond drilling program in southwestern New Brunswick, drilling 1,340 metres across eight NQ holes.

The campaign falls short of the roughly 2,000 metres originally planned, with remaining work contingent on permits from the province. Drilling spanned the Pocologan, Little Lepreau, and Prince of Wales areas.

At Pocologan, a single hole reached 242.5 metres and intersected mylonitized gabbro cut by felsic dykes, with visual disseminated sulphides observed. At Little Lepreau, five holes tested the Talbot Road Granodiorite and Lancaster Formation, including one abandoned at 80 metres. Two holes at Prince of Wales also failed to reach target depths and were abandoned in fault zones.

Core samples have been dispatched to ALS and AGAT Laboratories, with assay results pending.
