Abasca Resources Inc. has announced that its Loki Flake Graphite Deposit at the Key Lake South Project in Saskatchewan has been selected for inclusion in the Canada Investment Summit Prospectus.

The inaugural summit, hosted in Toronto by Prime Minister Mark Carney in partnership with CPP Investments and PSP Investments, profiles an exclusive group of Canadian projects identified as strategic investment opportunities. Abasca President and CEO Dawn Zhou attended the welcome reception.

Concurrently, Abasca has been named to the Invest in Saskatchewan Opportunity List and will participate in the Invest in Saskatchewan Forum, organized by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Trade and Export Development and led by Premier Scott Moe.

The recognition follows recent resource updates. The initial resource comprised 11.31 million tonnes at 7.65% graphitic carbon in the inferred category; the current resource has been upgraded to 6.99 million tonnes at 8.27% graphitic carbon in the indicated category and 15.83 million tonnes at 6.93% graphitic carbon in the inferred category. Abasca is advancing the Loki Flake Graphite Deposit toward a feasibility study.
