Aben Gold Starts 2026 Diamond Drilling at Justin Project in Yukon
Aben Gold Corp. has commenced its 2026 diamond drill program at the 100%-owned Justin Gold-Tungsten Project in southeastern Yukon Territory, completing the first drill pad at the POW zone and mobilizing a rig.
The 1,300-metre program is underway ahead of schedule, with construction beginning on a second pad at the POW zone. A third pad is planned 2 kilometres northwest at the Lost Ace zone to test high-grade orogenic gold vein mineralization below surface, where historical trench channel samples previously returned 88.2 g/t gold over 1.0 metre and 20.8 g/t gold over 4.4 metres.
At the POW zone, drilling will test the continuity of gold-tungsten mineralization and depth extent between historical discovery holes, including hole JN11-009, which intersected 1.25 g/t gold over 60.0 metres, and hole JN11-010, which returned 2.52 g/t gold and 29.53 g/t silver over 12.0 metres alongside subsequent tungsten re-assays of 0.25% WO₃. Additional holes will evaluate structural controls and tungsten distribution between previous intercepts and hole JN12-016.
Gold traded at US$4,337.90 per ounce, representing a 5.3% increase over the 30-day period ending August 10, 2026.
