Absolutely Critical Resources Sets October Date to Drill Mary Ann's Lake

Absolutely Critical Resources Corp. has signed a fixed-cost drilling contract to test a Crone Geophysics electromagnetic anomaly at its Mary Ann's Lake zinc-copper-silver project in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, with drilling scheduled to begin in early October 2026.
The exploration target was discovered through a blind airborne survey in the winter of 1992. Initial drilling in two short holes encountered a broad, 80-metre-wide altered and mineralized zone of talc-sericite-pyrite resembling the host rocks of the nearby former Stirling Mine.
The upcoming drill program is supported by a $52,500 grant under the Nova Scotia Junior Mining Assistance Program, of which $31,500 has already been advanced. The company has submitted a drilling permit application to the Ministry of Natural Resources and expects to receive approval shortly, with project completion anticipated by mid-October.
To fund its initial work programs, Absolutely Critical Resources completed a non-brokered private placement in March 2026, issuing 7,500,000 units at $0.02 per unit for gross proceeds of $150,000, allocating $70,000 to Mary Ann's Lake and $25,000 to the Massey project in Ontario.
At the Massey nickel-copper property in the Kamiskotia Complex near Timmins, the Ontario Ministry of Energy and Mines issued a diamond drilling permit in July 2026. Geophysicist Alan R. King has completed Maxwell Plate models identifying five high-priority VTEM anomalies for drilling, ranging from 400 siemens to an extreme high of 4,500 siemens, alongside 17 second-level targets.
Recent prospecting across the Massey claim block returned 1,055 ppm nickel from a gabbro sample and 0.34 g/t gold from a newly discovered shear-hosted quartz vein, prompting the registration of 13 additional claims along the eastern boundary. Field scouting of two access trails across the property will commence shortly to determine which targets can be reached during summer and fall drilling.
Discussing the target priority, Douglas Hunter, P.Geo., stated, “These are high-priority drill targets based on our knowledge of exploration on the adjoining property which is held by Mink Ventures Corporation (TSXV:MINK). This company, which is very active in the immediate area, has reported significant copper-nickel mineralization in a number of drill holes.”
