ABx Group Limited has commenced a rare earth exploration drilling program across northern Tasmanian tenements, targeting potential mine areas within the Deep Leads - Rubble Mound deposit.

The initial phase focuses on delineating mineable parts of the main resource area, building on material previously used to produce mixed rare earth carbonate samples that drew positive feedback from potential customers. The deposit supports a JORC-compliant resource estimate totaling 89 million tonnes averaging 844 ppm total rare earth oxides.

The work utilizes a proprietary rapid testing technique developed by ABx to assess ionic rare earths from in-house leach tests conducted near Launceston Airport, replacing standard assay methods that typically take several weeks.

Following the initial work at Deep Leads, ABx Group plans subsequent drilling across tenements EL27/2022, EL28/2022, and newly acquired tenement EL25/2022 to test the broader potential of its northern Tasmanian portfolio.
