Adex Mining Inc. has successfully secured an interim stay from the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board reinstating mineral claim 1505 for the Mount Pleasant project.

The ruling follows a hearing conducted on August 31, 2026, after the New Brunswick Mining Recorder cancelled the claim in July due to insufficient work program expenditures under s. 11(1) of the General Regulation of the Mining Act. The interim stay places the cancellation on hold and restores the claim in the name of Adex Minerals Corp., the company's wholly-owned subsidiary that holds its interest in the multi-metal project in Charlotte County, New Brunswick.

The reinstatement allows Adex Minerals to take steps toward fulfilling required work expenditures on the claim while awaiting a final determination. A full appeal hearing before the board is scheduled to proceed on December 3 and 4, 2026. The company remains confident in its position and maintains that the Mining Recorder acted unreasonably by imposing arbitrary deadlines and failing to engage with good faith proposals to complete the necessary expenditures in a timely manner.

Adex holds its interest in Mount Pleasant to target tungsten-molybdenum and tin-indium-zinc mineralization. Meanwhile, a special committee established by the board in April 2025 continues to evaluate strategic alternatives, including a structured sale process for the 100% interest in the project.
