Aeris Resources Limited (ASX: AIS) has reported full-year production for the 2026 financial year, posting group copper equivalent output of 42.1kt. This result sits comfortably within the company’s annual guidance range of 40kt to 49kt. Alongside its copper-dominant portfolio, the company produced 49koz of gold, which also tracked within its forecasted targets for the year.

The Tritton copper operations were a primary focal point for the year, achieving 23kt of copper. While this fell 4% short of the annual guidance, it still represented a significant 19% year-on-year increase in output. Performance during the June quarter proved particularly robust, with production hitting 6.5kt of copper—the highest level seen in recent years—as mining rates from the Murrawombie Pit accelerated and allowed the mill to operate at full capacity.

Operational momentum was briefly hindered earlier in the year by specific site-based hurdles. As noted by company leadership, those issues have been addressed as the business looks toward the new fiscal period.

"overall, FY26 results were solid with group copper equivalent production within guidance and a very strong closing cash and receivables position. Geotechnical challenges in Q2 resulting in delays experienced in accessing ore at the Murrawombie Pit meant Tritton was slightly under copper guidance, despite this, the operation did increase copper production by 19% compared to FY25."

Financially, the company enters the new year with a strengthened balance sheet, reporting $202.3 million in cash and receivables at the end of the June quarter. This liquidity is earmarked to support the ongoing development of the Constellation deposit, a key growth asset, alongside continued exploration efforts. Additionally, all gold hedging programs were settled by the end of the June quarter, leaving the company unhedged heading into FY27.

Investors can expect further operational updates when Aeris releases its detailed quarterly report later in July 2026. The company has also confirmed that it will provide formal production guidance for the 2027 financial year in the coming weeks.
