AIC Mines Limited has intersected high-grade gold mineralisation at its Eloise South prospect, returning 3.2 metres at 92.5g/t gold from 446.4 metres, including a 1.2-metre interval grading 249g/t gold. Located two kilometres south of the Eloise copper mine in North Queensland, the prospect is being explored as part of the company’s dual-track strategy to operate the high-grade underground Eloise mine while aggressively testing regional targets for new mineralised deposits.

At the separate Iris prospect, situated five kilometres from the Eloise processing plant, drilling has defined anomalous copper and gold mineralisation over a 1.5-kilometre strike length. Recent results include 12.0 metres at 1.0% copper and 0.3g/t gold from 227.0 metres, with a sub-interval of 2.0 metres at 4.4% copper. The company is targeting satellite deposits within trucking distance of its existing Eloise infrastructure to expand its regional copper-gold footprint.

The Iris prospect sits along the same regional structure that hosts the Eloise and Jericho copper deposits. Geological interpretation suggests the potential for plunging high-grade shoots within the broader mineralised zone at Iris, similar to features observed at Jericho. The mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth.

AIC Mines has planned follow-up diamond drilling at the Iris prospect to specifically test these high-grade plunging shoots. Simultaneously, the company intends to conduct rapid follow-up exploration at Eloise South to further define the extent of the high-grade gold mineralisation identified in the latest program. Both prospects remain key components of the company's Eloise Regional exploration portfolio.
