Alaska Energy Metals Corporation has completed planning for an eight-hole, 2,125-metre core drilling program to test targets at the McBride prospect within its Angliers Project in Quebec.

The company has received its authorization for impact-causing exploration work permit from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, with a drill crew expected to mobilize in mid-August 2026.

The campaign will test coincident electromagnetic, magnetic, and geochemical anomalies identified during 2024 grid surface soil sampling and Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic surveys. Previous surface work outlined multiple anomalous zones of copper, zinc, nickel, silver, and gold corresponding to east-west trending conductive zones immediately beneath sulfide and banded iron formation occurrences.

Breakaway Exploration Management will conduct the drilling program on behalf of the company, with technical disclosures reviewed and approved by Qualified Person Mark Fekete and President and CEO Gregory Beischer. In a separate portfolio adjustment, Alaska Energy Metals previously elected to withdraw from an option-to-purchase agreement for the Bambino claim block after reviewing survey results.
