Albion Resources Limited has returned high-grade gold assays up to 280.3 g/t Au from reconnaissance rock-chip sampling across the Gidgee Gold Project in Western Australia.

The sampling program collected 35 regional rock-chip samples from historical workings, outcrops, and historical drill spoils in preparation for upcoming drilling. A total of six samples returned gold grades exceeding 1 g/t Au.

The standout result of 280.3 g/t Au came from sample GDLH32 at the Phar Lap Prospect, which was collected from strongly weathered, iron-oxide-rich quartz vein material adjacent to historical workings in an area that has never been drill tested. Other notable results include 4.79 g/t Au from sample GDLH36 and 3.47 g/t Au from sample GDLH35, both sampled from historical workings and trenches in previously undrilled areas. Sample GDLH10 yielded 4.44 g/t Au from historical drill spoil, while samples GDLH14 and GDLH16 returned 1.58 g/t Au and 1.57 g/t Au respectively near historical electromagnetic anomalies and workings.

The new surface results provide spatial correlation with previously defined gold-in-soil anomalies and interpreted regional shear zones across priority targets including German Well South, Wilson Splay, Tokey Central, Tokey North, and Phar Lap.

The company acquired a 100% interest in the Gidgee Gold Project within the Gum Creek Greenstone Belt in May 2026. Regulatory clearance for the upcoming campaign was secured in August 2026, when the Western Australian Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration approved the Programme of Work.

Maiden drilling is scheduled to commence in late August 2026, comprising approximately 6,000 metres of air-core drilling and 1,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling designed to test priority targets systematically across the project.

Activity across the broader district has also highlighted ongoing exploration in the region, including when Horizon Gold Limited reported broad high-grade gold intercepts, including 23m at 5.26g/t gold from 188m at the Kingfisher deposit within the Gum Creek project.
