Albion Resources Limited has commenced its maiden aircore drilling campaign at the Gidgee Gold Project in Western Australia.

The initial program comprises approximately 6,000 metres of aircore drilling designed to test priority regional gold targets. These targets were generated and refined through the company's recent soil sampling program and a comprehensive review of historical exploration data across major regional shear corridors.

Albion completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in the project in May 2026 after exercising its acquisition option in April of that year.

“Commencing our maiden drilling campaign is an exciting milestone for Albion and follows several months of work by our team to build and refine a strong portfolio of targets at Gidgee.”

— Peter Goh, Chief Executive Officer

The regional aircore phase will be followed by approximately 1,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling. Albion expects this follow-up RC program to commence at the German Well South prospect in late September 2026, with drilling focused on testing areas associated with major regional structures.

The company cautions that the potential economic significance of the exploration results has not yet been established and further work is required before any conclusions regarding resources or development can be made.
