Algo Grande Expands Hole 2 Copper Footprint to 68.77 Metres at Adelita Project
Algo Grande Copper Corp. has expanded its Phase II drill program at the Adelita Project in Sonora, Mexico, reporting an enlarged copper footprint in Hole AG_CG_PH2_002 and an extensive new intercept in Hole AG_CG_PH2_003 at the Cerro Grande skarn target.
Hole AG_CG_PH2_002 has more than doubled its visually observed copper-bearing footprint to 68.77 metres across a 154.40-metre span from 146.70 to 301.10 metres. The interval is hosted in massive brown garnet-dominant skarn, andesitic porphyry intrusion, and retrograde exoskarn containing chalcocite, chalcopyrite, bornite, covellite, chrysocolla, and intermittent molybdenite. The hole has reached a depth of 424.22 metres toward a planned 700-metre total depth.
Initial core samples down to 179 metres from Hole 2 were delivered to the ALS laboratory in Hermosillo on August 7, 2026, with assay results expected in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, a second rig advanced Hole AG_CG_PH2_003 to 239.65 metres, intersecting copper mineralization across a combined 73.91-metre interval containing 37.42 metres of visually observed copper-bearing core. The intercept includes an upper zone hosted in garnet-dominant skarn and an extensively mineralized lower zone hosted in retrograde exoskarn. Algo Grande interprets the Hole 3 intercept as a 105-metre vertical step-out above an intercept from the inaugural Phase I campaign, indicating vertical continuity within the mineralizing system. Hole 3 remains open at depth.

Algo Grande holds a 100% interest in the 5,895-hectare Adelita Project within the Arizona-Sonora copper belt. All reported drill intervals are based on visual core logging, and true widths have not yet been determined.
