Alkane Resources Limited has reported a net profit after tax of A$228.7 million for the year ended 30 June 2026, marking a 592% increase compared to A$33.0 million in the previous financial year.

The record financial performance was driven by a 257% rise in revenue to A$935.8 million, up from A$262.3 million in FY25. Full-year gold equivalent production reached 168,337 ounces, compared to 70,120 ounces previously, following the integration of the Costerfield and Björkdal operations. Alkane operates three producing assets following its merger with Mandalay Resources Corporation on 5 August 2025, comprising the Tomingley mine in New South Wales, the Costerfield operation in Victoria, and the Björkdal mine in Sweden.

The enlarged group benefited from an average realised gold price of A$5,664 per ounce, compared to A$3,770 per ounce in FY25. Cash and bullion reserves closed the period at A$438.9 million, up from A$60.3 million at 30 June 2025.

Reflecting the balance sheet strength, the Board declared a maiden fully franked dividend of 2.0 cents per share for FY26, with payment scheduled for 1 October 2026.

“FY26 was a transformational year for Alkane. The merger with Mandalay created a three-mine gold and antimony producer of scale, and record production, revenue and profit in our first year as a combined group demonstrate the quality of the business we have built. The declaration of Alkane’s maiden dividend is a significant milestone in the Company’s history, and reflects both the strength of our balance sheet and the Board’s confidence in the outlook for the Company – a confidence underlined by our FY27 guidance.”

“Alkane’s Board and management thank the employees and contractors of the Company for their strong and continued commitment to safety, production and exploration performance.” — Nic Earner, Managing Director

Alkane reiterated its FY27 group production guidance of 163,000 to 177,000 gold equivalent ounces at an all-in sustaining cost of A$2,900 to A$3,200 per ounce, underpinned by planned output across Tomingley, Costerfield and Björkdal.
