Altai Appoints Fraser Laschinger as CEO and Chairman

Altai Resources Inc. has appointed Fraser Laschinger as chairman, chief executive officer, and president, effective immediately, replacing outgoing executive Kursat Kacira.
Laschinger brings two decades of capital markets and mining sector experience to the role. He currently serves as vice president of investments for Juno International Corporation alongside executive roles across various portfolio companies. His previous industry experience includes serving as chief executive officer of Voyageur Mineral Explorers Corp. before its 2025 merger into Evolve Royalties Ltd., where he remains a director. He also held the chief financial officer role at Fox River Resources Corporation prior to its acquisition earlier in 2026. Earlier in his career, Laschinger co-founded private mineral royalty company Mineral Streams Inc. before its acquisition by AuRico Metals Inc. in 2015, following time spent working in equity research for a Canadian investment dealer. He is a 2006 graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, holding an honours degree in business administration.
Following the disposition of its active properties, Altai has been actively pursuing strategic alternatives, including seeking new mining exploration properties to acquire.
