Altair Minerals Starts Diamond Drilling At North Peters
Altair Minerals Limited has commenced diamond drilling at the North Peters prospect, marking the start of Phase I drilling under the company’s fully funded 75,000-metre exploration campaign at the Greater Oko project in Guyana.
Phase I encompasses approximately 22,600 metres of combined diamond and reverse circulation drilling. This initial stage allocates 5,600 metres of diamond infill drilling and 2,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling to North Peters, alongside 15,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling at South Oko.

Diamond drilling at North Peters is designed to test the continuity and geometry of broad, locally high-grade historic mineralisation across a strike extent of approximately 650 metres. Holes are planned to average roughly 250 metres in downhole depth.
Reverse circulation drilling is expected to commence next week at North Peters to test shallow step-outs approximately 300 to 800 metres southwest of the current mineralised envelope, with target depths averaging 50 metres. Meanwhile, a third drill rig is expected to begin reverse circulation drilling at South Oko this month.
Historic work at North Peters includes notable diamond drill intercepts such as 85 metres at 4.81 grams per tonne gold from 24 metres depth in hole MM0105, and 89 metres at 2.40 grams per tonne gold from 45 metres. Recent relogging and remodelling have strengthened the geological model, indicating that the broadest and highest-grade historic intersections occur directly beneath an interpreted regional thrust structure.
Subject to the results of Phase I, a second phase of drilling at North Peters will focus on testing regional extensions, evaluating chargeability targets, and gathering data to support the future assessment of a JORC-compliant Mineral Resource.
The current large-scale campaign follows an inaugural 30,000-metre drill program that Altair initiated in April 2026. The expanded exploration scope is supported by a treasury strengthened by a binding commitment of A$28.2 million secured via a strategic placement to Endeavour Gold Corporation in April 2026.
