Altamira Gold Corp. has intersected wide intervals of gold mineralization in two drill holes at the Maria Bonita West target, confirming a new mineralized early porphyry body within the Cajueiro project in Brazil.

Drill hole MBA-042 returned a total of 282m downhole across three intervals, including 36.2m at 0.4g/t gold from surface, 45.4m at 0.3g/t gold from a depth of 61.9m, and 200.4m at 0.3g/t gold starting from 113.2m. Adjacent hole MBA-043 intersected 231.5m at 0.4g/t gold from a depth of 93m. Both holes encountered quartz-veined porphyritic rocks within a newly defined western intrusive body separated from the eastern sector by a late intrusive dyke.

The holes are spaced 100m apart and both ended in mineralization, indicating that the Maria Bonita West porphyry body remains open to the west and at depth. Assay results are currently pending for holes MBA-044 and MBA-045.

“Our continued exploration drilling program over the western part of the Maria Bonita mineralized porphyry system is delivering highly encouraging results. We have now confirmed a new mineralized porphyry body at Maria Bonita West, with drill holes MBA-042 and MBA-043 delivering two of the widest coherent mineralized intersections encountered in our drilling to date. These positive results suggest that the Maria Bonita system extends further west than previously recognized with the mineralized body remaining open to the west and at depth. With our recently secured land access to the adjacent property, we are now in a strong position to continue drilling westward and evaluate the full potential of this growing mineralized system.”

Altamira holds four projects spanning over 90,000 hectares within the Juruena Gold Belt, with Cajueiro serving as its most advanced asset. The company previously secured surface access to the western extension of the Cajueiro exploration licenses, covering a 58-square-kilometre area immediately west of Maria Bonita.

To evaluate the extent of the open anomalies, Altamira will conduct soil sampling, drone geophysics, and ground geophysics across the newly accessible ground.
