Altoro Hits 21.1% Zinc in Emilia Channel Sampling

Altoro Metals has confirmed high-grade zinc results from systematic channel sampling at the historic Emilia mine, part of the Novales Project in Cantabria, northern Spain.

The program returned multiple high-grade, metre-scale intervals from 28 channel samples collected across 23 underground and open-pit locations. The standout individual result reached 2.65 metres at 21.10% zinc and 0.14% lead, with additional high-grade hits including 2.60 metres at 18.55% zinc and 0.18% lead, and 1.70 metres at 15.40% zinc and 3.24% lead. Broader composite intervals also confirmed high grades across wider sampled widths, including 4.50 metres at 13.71% zinc and 0.11% lead, and 3.90 metres at 9.44% zinc and 1.51% lead.

The new data provides modern, JORC-compliant exploration results that complement historical drilling data reported in May 2026. The historical dataset included notable intervals such as hole S-50 returning 0.85 metres at 23.47% zinc and 0.90 metres at 17.43% lead, and hole S-60 returning 1.50 metres at 14.22% zinc.

The Emilia mine is situated approximately 2.3 kilometres northeast of the San José mine along a zinc trend extending more than 12 kilometres across the Novales Project. Mineralisation at Emilia lies outside the company's current Mineral Resource Estimate, providing an opportunity to test for additional material beyond the existing resource footprint.

To fund targeted drilling and development work across its Spanish zinc assets, Altoro completed a $5 million placement in July 2026. The newly returned channel sampling data will be integrated with historical drilling, underground mine data and geological mapping to refine the geological model ahead of Altoro's planned surface drilling campaign in Cantabria, which will test the zinc trend between Novales, Emilia and Margarita.
