Amarc Resources Ltd. has expanded existing mineralized footprints and identified new sulphide systems across the JOY Copper-Gold District in British Columbia through ongoing Induced Polarization ground geophysical surveys.

The geophysical work expanded the original 4.5-square-kilometre NWG sulphide system, which hosts the AuRORA gold-copper deposit, eastward over an area now covering 7 square kilometres. The surveys also discovered a new, open 4.5-square-kilometre sulphide system named the ROE Target, positioned immediately adjacent to the east of the expanded NWG system.

At the White Pass sulphide system, which hosts the historical Brenda deposit, recent IP surveying enlarged the footprint from 3 square kilometres to 5 square kilometres. The expanded anomaly now also encompasses the Creek Zone, where historical shallow drilling identified prospective alteration and copper-gold-silver mineralization.

The eastward expansion of the NWG system alongside the ROE and White Pass systems lies within the Brenda Property. AuRORA Minerals Ltd., a private joint venture company owned 60% by Freeport-McMoRan Mineral Properties Canada Inc. and 40% by Amarc, has an option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the tenure. Amarc acts as the primary contractor managing the joint venture's programs under a separate services agreement.

Core drilling with three rigs and extensive geophysical, geological, and geochemical surveys are underway as part of the $20 million 2026 exploration program at the JOY District, which is funded by Freeport.
