Amaroq Commences 2026 Resource Drilling at Nanoq Gold Project

Amaroq Ltd. has commenced its 2026 resource drilling programme at the Nanoq gold project in South Greenland, deploying three company-owned rigs to test the mineralised system.

The campaign initially focuses on the Central Zone, building on the 2025 programme that established initial high-grade intersections including 187.4g/t Au over 1.5m and 19.6g/t Au over 4.9m. The work is designed to supplement the 2025 dataset by increasing data density and testing the continuity, geometry, and grade distribution of shallow, stacked mineralised zones.

Following the initial phase in the Central Zone, rigs will step out along strike and test parallel structures such as the West 1 Zone, located approximately 500m to the west. Surface sampling at West 1 previously returned grades of up to 9.5g/t Au.

The programme targets a total meterage comparable to the 4,807m completed across 27 holes in 2025. Amaroq intends to combine the 2025 and 2026 datasets to evaluate a potential maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Nanoq later in 2026, subject to drilling results.

In parallel, provisional metallurgical testwork is being conducted by SGS Lakefield in Canada to test the amenability of Nanoq material to the gravity and flotation flowsheet operating at the company's 100% owned and operated, producing Nalunaq Gold Mine in South Greenland. If successful, the testwork could indicate the viability of undertaking near-term bulk sampling of Nanoq material through Nalunaq facilities.

The company is also assessing site access and engineering works for the 2026 field season to enable cost-effective logistics from 2027 onward, including the potential construction of a coastal landing or harbour and an access road linking the coast to drill sites.
