American Eagle Gold Corp. has intersected 1,001 metres grading 0.46% copper equivalent from surface at the NAK project in British Columbia, marking the longest mineralized intercept ever drilled at the property.

Step-out hole NAK26-87, drilled approximately 150 metres northwest of previous hole NAK25-78, returned a continuous kilometre-long interval of copper and gold mineralization that included 218 metres grading 1.01% copper equivalent. The drilling expands the footprint of the high-grade South Zone, which now measures 700 metres east-west by 600 metres north-south and extends from surface to a depth exceeding 800 metres.

In addition to the South Zone extension, American Eagle reported results from three western holes—NAK26-84, NAK26-86, and NAK26-88—designed to test the lateral limits of the system. These holes returned broad copper intercepts that extend the mineralized footprint to the north and west, which the company states has positive implications for potential open-pit strip ratios.

“A kilometre of continuous copper and gold mineralization in a single drill hole is a rare result anywhere in the world. Starting at surface, it is rarer still, and that is exactly what NAK26-87 delivered,” said Anthony Moreau, Chief Executive Officer of American Eagle Gold. “Holes like this are the building blocks of long-life projects. NAK26-87 extends the high-grade South Zone 150 metres to the northwest, confirms grade continuity, and shows this system is still growing. With the overwhelming majority of this season's assays still to come, we believe the best is ahead of us.” — Anthony Moreau, Chief Executive Officer of American Eagle Gold

The reported intervals represent drill intercepts, and insufficient data is currently available to determine the true thickness of the mineralized intervals. The company is currently executing an approximately 55,000-metre drill program using three rigs, with operations scheduled to run continuously through April 2027. Assays from follow-up drill holes remain pending.

The ongoing exploration forms part of a broader regional push that includes Prospect Ridge Resources initiating a copper-gold discovery drill program at its Excalibur project within the surrounding district. American Eagle previously expanded its own local land holdings in July 2026 by acquiring an option on the Hearne Hill South property, located within 4.5 kilometres of NAK.
