American Lithium Commissions Falchani Pilot Plant

American Lithium Corp. has completed installation and commissioning of all systems at the Falchani Lithium Project pilot plant in Lima, Peru, with operations performing as expected.
Recent laboratory bench testing utilizing pilot plant equipment in a semi-continuous process achieved an average lithium extraction rate of 88.7%, with recovery ranges between 88.0% and 89.9%. This performance exceeds the 80.0% recovery figure utilized in the project's February 2024 preliminary economic assessment.
The installation process initially prioritized core systems, which have now been individually validated, including impurity removal, controlled cooling, pre-neutralization, neutralization, crystallization, centrifugal separation, and consumables reaction management. With the flow sheet equipment fully installed and tested, the company is advancing toward continuous, end-to-end flowsheet validation at scale. The pilot plant is scheduled to run continuously at target rates for more than three months, processing between 6 and 10 tonnes of Falchani mineralization. Data generated from these operations will feed directly into future project feasibility work.
The milestone follows the definitive consolidation of legal security and ownership of 32 key mining concessions at Falchani in favor of the company's Peruvian subsidiary following a court ruling in December 2025.
“The results from the key core processing stages have been very encouraging. The consistency we are seeing gives us strong confidence as we move rapidly toward full pilot plant operations. Every stage we bring online has added to our understanding of how this deposit will perform at scale, optimizing to build on the promising recent results.”
