American Resources Corporation announced that its minority holding, ReElement Technologies Corporation, has received its Minor Source air permit for all four Phase I production lines at its Marion, Indiana refining campus.

“Receiving the principal approvals necessary to operate the production lines represents a significant milestone in ReElement's commercialization," said Mark Jensen, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ReElement Technologies Corporation. "The speed, diligence and professionalism demonstrated by the State of Indiana, the City of Marion, Grant County, federal authorities and the permitting authorities show what is possible when government and industry work together with urgency, transparency and a shared commitment to rebuilding critical-mineral supply chains in the United States.”

The permit authorizes the installation, commissioning, and operation of the facility's four production lines. The Marion site is designed to refine rare earth elements and critical minerals using a chromatography-based separation and purification platform, processing recycled materials, industrial byproducts, and mineral feedstocks into high-purity products including germanium, gallium, and various rare earths.

The campus serves as the commercial-scale deployment of technology that ReElement validated over more than four years at its qualification facility in Noblesville, Indiana. The company previously reported that its four-line Phase 1 buildout at Marion was expected to provide over 16,000 metric tons of annual capacity.

With air permitting complete, ReElement's primary focus shifts toward equipment installation, commissioning, and commercial production.
