American Uranium Ltd. (ASX: AMU) has finished its latest drilling campaign at the Lo Herma project in Wyoming, marking a milestone in the company’s efforts to advance the site toward in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium production. The completed program involved 50 mud rotary drill holes totaling approximately 12,757 meters. This work was strategically focused on infill drilling within Mine Unit 1 and step-out drilling to the south of Mine Unit 2, intended to refine the geological model and support future development plans.

The results confirmed the continuity of uranium mineralisation in both target areas. According to the company, 21 of the 50 holes intersected mineralisation above the 0.02% grade cut-off, with 13 holes exceeding a target grade thickness of 0.2. The strongest intercept from the final set of results returned 6.9 meters at 0.044% eU3O8, yielding a grade thickness of 0.99. These findings are central to the company’s broader objective of converting Inferred resources into the higher-confidence Indicated category.

The drilling program also facilitated the installation of five hydrogeological monitor wells within the production zone of Mine Unit 1. These wells are expected to provide essential data for upcoming aquifer pump tests, which will help characterize the production environment for potential ISR operations. With the field work now wrapped up, the company is shifting its internal focus toward processing the data for an updated Mineral Resource Estimate and a Scoping Study, both of which are slated for release during the third quarter of 2026.
