Amex Gold Mining Discovers Rosé Zone at Perron Project
AMEX Gold Mining Inc. has discovered a new gold zone, named the Rosé Zone, at its Perron Gold Project in the northwestern Abitibi region of Quebec.
The newly identified mineralized zone commences approximately 165 metres directly below the underground ramp development currently being advanced by Amex to support an ongoing bulk sample and future mine operations. Drill highlights from the discovery include hole PE-26-934, which returned 8.02 g/t gold over 4.30 metres, including 23.93 g/t gold and 8.80 g/t silver over 1.15 metres at a vertical depth of approximately 210 metres.

Additional intercepts from the Rosé Zone include hole PE-26-908, yielding 11.78 g/t gold over 1.80 metres (including 30.86 g/t gold over 0.65 metres at a vertical depth of ~290 metres), and hole PE-25-878, returning 10.94 g/t gold over 1.20 metres (including 21.22 g/t gold over 0.55 metres at a vertical depth of ~280 metres).
The 100% owned Perron property comprises 183 contiguous claims covering a surface area of 65.72 square kilometres in northern Quebec. The company notes that the new zone has seen minimal drilling, with one of the deepest holes, PE-26-950, containing visible gold at 410 metres and leaving the zone open at depth for expansion. The discovery can currently be traced for 275 metres of vertical extension and 70 metres of strike length.
“Our 2026 drill program to date has been successful across multiple fronts,” said Aaron Stone, Vice President Exploration of Amex Gold Mining. “The discovery of a new zone in such close proximity to our fully financed ramp development is what truly sets the Rosé zone apart. While it is early days in the life of this discovery, the Rosé zone has the potential to add important ounces to the future proposed operation. The team's initial observations are that the mineralization is hosted within a set of tension veins stemming from a larger structure that may also be controlling the mineralization of the Alizée Zone to the north-northwest. Further drilling and modelling to validate this theory is planned.” — Aaron Stone, Vice President Exploration
Amex plans further drilling and modelling to validate the geological theory for the Rosé Zone. The company is also planning a borehole electromagnetic survey across multiple holes on the Perron West property in Ontario to better model the potential trend of mineralization.
