Andina Copper Corporation has returned 206 metres grading 0.67% copper from 32 metres downhole within a broader 400-metre interval of 0.46% copper from drillhole CDH011 at its Cobrasco porphyry copper-molybdenum project in Chocó, Colombia.

Drilled steeply beneath Pad 3 to a final depth of 695.45 metres, CDH011 encountered continuous mineralization beginning below a 32-metre oxidized, supergene-leached zone. The higher-grade upper portion extends to 276 metres downhole, hosted primarily within quartz-eye rhyolite porphyries and subordinate daci-andesitic porphyries and microdiorites. Below 300 metres, moderate-grade copper-molybdenum mineralization continues within rhyolite porphyries and magmatic-hydrothermal breccias, returning 290 metres at 0.25% copper and 93 parts per million molybdenum from 302 metres.

The initial 11 diamond drillholes completed at the property have delineated a mineralized footprint measuring approximately 1,200 metres by 550 to 700 metres, which remains open in multiple directions.

Andina Copper is advancing a wide-spaced scout drilling program, with multiple holes completed from a new platform located approximately 350 metres northwest of Pad 3. Assay results remain pending for several holes from this new platform, and drilling is ongoing, with the company expecting to mobilize a second drill rig shortly.
