Andina Copper Corporation has intersected a 504-metre mineralised interval grading 0.48% copper and 37 parts per million molybdenum from 36 metres downhole at its Cobrasco Porphyry Copper-Moly Discovery in Chocó, Colombia.

The latest assay results from drillhole CDH010 include a higher-grade core of 264 metres at 0.63% copper and 35 parts per million molybdenum from 36 metres, along with a 36-metre intercept at 0.62% copper from 486 metres and an 84-metre section returning 0.40% copper and 91 parts per million molybdenum from 660 metres. Hole CDH010 was collared from the same drill pad as holes CDH006 through CDH009 and drilled towards the west-southwest to test the wide gap between previous holes. The intercept edges out the 502-metre interval at 0.40% copper from 38 metres returned by hole CDH009, delivering a slightly longer intercept at a higher copper grade.

The Cobrasco Project spans 3,000 hectares within the Chocó Copper Belt of the Colombian Western Cordillera. Data compiled across the initial 10 diamond drillholes completed to date for approximately 11,000 metres has delineated a mineralized footprint measuring approximately 1,200 metres by 550 to 700 metres, with the system remaining wide open in multiple directions.

An additional drillhole, CDH011, has been finished from the same pad, with assay results currently pending. Scout drilling is also underway from a new step-out platform located 350 metres to the northwest.
