Andromeda Metals Limited has successfully produced 4N High Purity Alumina at continuous pilot scale from Great White kaolin feedstock, achieving a measured purity of 99.9986% and validating the company's proprietary processing technology through independent verification.

Independent analysis by EAG Eurofins confirmed a total metallic impurity content of 14.47 ppm using industry standard methodology, while a conservative calculation incorporating reporting limits for elements below detection limits returned 99.9963%. Both calculation approaches confirm the successful production of high purity alumina exceeding the 4N specification threshold of 99.99% Al2O3.

The continuous pilot-scale result advances past previous laboratory-scale test work, which achieved a high purity alumina purity of 99.9985%. That earlier benchmark established the initial proof of concept, whereas the current continuous pilot run demonstrates that the proprietary flowsheet can operate successfully under continuous conditions.

The ongoing pilot plant program provides the engineering, design and operational data required to refine the flowsheet, assess continuous operating parameters, and evaluate value opportunities associated with potential co-products such as amorphous silica. This operational data directly feeds into the preparation of the planned Pre-Feasibility Study for the project.

Commercial samples of 4N high purity alumina from the pilot plant are scheduled to become available during the second half of 2026 to drive customer evaluation programs. This material is intended to support engagement under the non-binding Heads of Agreement signed with Traxys North America in August 2026, which established a framework targeting a five-year sales agency agreement for 2,000 tonnes of high purity alumina per annum.
