Angkor Resources Corp. has met with potential drilling contractors to assess drill sites, access roads, and infrastructure across four sub-basins on the Block VIII oil and gas concession in southwest Cambodia.

Senior representatives and technical teams from Angkor energy subsidiary EnerCam Resources Co., Ltd. reviewed technical presentations and conducted field inspections of bridges and roads to verify load-bearing capacities for heavy equipment. The planned exploratory wells are designed to reach depths of up to 3,300 metres across the Kirirom, South Bokor, Central Bokor, and North Bokor prospects.

Angkor holds the Block VIII concession, spanning 4,095 square kilometres, through EnerCam. Angkor increased its ownership interest in the Block VIII concession from 20% to 75% in April 2026 by agreeing to fund the drilling program and make a payment of USD2 million.

Drilling contractors will be selected through a tendered bid process that requires prior approval from the Ministry of Mines and Energy. EnerCam has conducted due diligence on potential contractors over the past five months to streamline the process.

The Environmental Impact Assessment for the four drilling sub-basins advanced to an inter-ministerial review in July 2026, and EnerCam anticipates receiving final approval from the Ministry of Environment.
