Argo Completes Sale of Rockstar Gold Project Royalty for C$250,000

Argo Gold Inc. has completed the sale of its net smelter return royalty on the Rockstar Gold Project in Ontario for total cash consideration of C$250,000.
Under the terms of the royalty purchase agreement, Argo has assigned and transferred all of its right, title, and interest in the 1% net smelter return royalty, which featured a 0.5% buyback option valued at $500,000, free and clear of all encumbrances. The transaction results in the complete divestment of the company's interest in the 27-square-kilometre mineral exploration claims located across Jacobson and Riggs townships.
The asset sale forms part of a broader corporate portfolio that spans multiple jurisdictions and commodities. Argo maintains an active corporate development strategy that includes advancing a portfolio of gold projects in Northwestern Ontario alongside silver-zinc projects in Northeastern Ontario and oil production assets in Alberta.
Alongside its resource exploration and oil producing operations, the company is managing an ongoing capital return initiative. Argo is currently carrying out a normal course issuer bid to purchase up to 2,701,820 common shares for cancellation, with the share buyback program running through July 2, 2027.
Shares in the company are currently trading at $0.115, up 4.55% on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
