Arika Resources Limited (ASX: ARI) is set to commence its most extensive exploration campaign to date, mobilising for a +20,000m drilling program across its Yundamindra and Kookynie Gold Projects in Western Australia. The company expects the drilling to start within the coming weeks, utilising both reverse circulation and diamond drilling methods to aggressively target high-grade mineralisation and new discovery zones.

The upcoming campaign serves as a cornerstone of the company’s dual-asset growth strategy in the Leonora-Laverton gold belt, which focuses on balancing near-term resource definition at Yundamindra with greenfield exploration at the Kookynie Project. By running multiple drilling programs in parallel, the explorer aims to maintain a steady pipeline of news flow for the remainder of 2026.

At the Kookynie project, the focus will be on the Cosmopolitan, Altona, and Ithaca prospects. Meanwhile, the Yundamindra work will continue to advance the site toward a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. The company has also completed soil geochemistry at the Emerald City prospect, with a maiden drilling program scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. Metallurgical testwork is also underway to evaluate recovery characteristics, providing essential data to support future development studies as the projects progress through the exploration pipeline.
