Aris Mining Reports H1 2026 Gold Production Growth
Aris Mining Corporation (ARIS) reported total gold production of 148,000 ounces for the first half of 2026, representing a 31% increase compared to the same period in 2025. This production output across the company’s two-mine asset base in Colombia—Segovia and Marmato—generated over $680 million in revenue for the six-month period. For the second quarter of 2026 alone, the company produced 73,700 ounces of gold, maintaining a steady operational pace.
The company remains on track to meet its annual production guidance of 300,000 to 350,000 ounces for 2026. Management attributed the growth to increased underground mining capacity at Marmato and the ongoing ramp-up of operations at Segovia. The company holds a cash balance exceeding $425 million as of June 30, 2026.
"We delivered a strong first half of 2026, with gold production up 31% from the same period in 2025, and we remain on track to deliver our 2026 production guidance of 300,000 to 350,000 ounces. We expect gold production to increase in the second half of the year, supported by the ongoing production ramp-up at Segovia and near-term completion of construction of the new Marmato CIP plant." — Neil Woodyer, Chair and CEO
Construction of the new Marmato Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP) plant is currently progressing, with mill components being assembled. The project remains on schedule for an initial gold pour in the fourth quarter of 2026. Once both the Segovia ramp-up and the Marmato expansion are fully operational, the company anticipates its combined annual production to reach approximately 500,000 ounces.
Looking further ahead, Aris Mining maintains a broader long-term production objective of approximately 1 million ounces of gold annually. This target is supported by the company’s wider portfolio, which includes the Toroparu gold project in Guyana. Development of that asset is currently in the prefeasibility study stage, with a construction decision expected in early 2027.
The operational results highlight the current focus on scaling up existing Colombian mines to reach immediate production milestones. While the Segovia and Marmato operations currently account for the entirety of the company's gold output, the advancement of the Toroparu prefeasibility study serves as the next primary technical catalyst for the company’s long-term growth strategy. Aris Mining expects to release comprehensive financial and operating results for the second quarter on or around July 29, 2026.
