Arizona Gold & Silver Inc. has appointed Yale Simpson as an independent director, effective immediately, pending the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Simpson is an accomplished entrepreneur and geologist with four decades of experience across Australia, Africa, Eastern Europe and South America, specializing in strategic resource planning, financing and corporate communications. He is widely known as a co-founder and chairman of Exeter Resource Corporation, which was acquired by Goldcorp, and Extorre Resources, which was acquired by Yamana Gold. He has previously served as an advisor to the company.

Discussing his increased involvement, Simpson cited the Philadelphia Project as a spectacular discovery with growing upside, alongside the technical know-how of the management team.

“AZS is proud to announce that once again, our leadership team is improving in depth and experience. We feel very fortunate to welcome Yale Simpson with his considerable experience in executive and leadership positions in both domestic and international jurisdictions. As an Advisor to the Company, he has enthusiastically supported the Company for some years. Please join me in welcoming Yale to Arizona Gold & Silver Inc.,” stated Mike Stark, President & CEO.

The appointment follows a series of recent additions to support the flagship Philadelphia Gold-Silver Project in western Arizona, including capital markets leader Terry Salman as an advisor to the CEO in December 2025 and professional geologist Darin Wagner as an advisor to the CEO in February 2026.
