Artemis Resources Limited (ARV) has commenced a heritage survey at its Cassowary target, a primary site within the company’s broader Madura Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia. The survey is currently being conducted in collaboration with the Pila Nguru Traditional Owners and encompasses the proposed drill sites and access tracks. Successfully completing this heritage clearance is a critical regulatory milestone required to finalise drill collar locations and advance toward the company's first-pass exploration drilling.

The company is targeting the commencement of its maiden three-hole drilling program in the third quarter of 2026. Cassowary is identified as the largest magnetic intrusion within the Madura Province, measuring approximately 4 kilometres in diameter. It is situated along the Madura Crustal Boundary, a structural environment the company believes holds potential for large-scale, intrusion-related copper-gold systems.

Artemis holds a dominant land position in the region, controlling more than 2,100 square kilometres across 100 kilometres of strike along the Madura Crustal Boundary. While the Madura project remains an early-stage exploration focus, the company also maintains the Radio Hill processing plant near Karratha, which serves as a core infrastructure asset within its broader portfolio. Management noted that the company is well-funded to execute the planned drilling program, supported by capital raised earlier this month. The final design of the drilling program remains subject to the successful completion of the heritage survey and receipt of remaining required regulatory approvals.
