Aruma Resources Identifies Three Priority Regions of Interest in Fiery Creek 3D Model

Aruma Resources has completed a comprehensive geological and structural study that defined three new high-priority regions of interest at the Fiery Creek copper-gold project in the Mt Isa region of northern Queensland.

The project-wide study integrated geological mapping, drillhole data, geochemistry, airborne magnetics, gravity datasets and three-dimensional inversion modelling to produce the first detailed structural interpretation for the 100%-owned tenure. It highlights prospective host rocks that coincide with complex, intersecting structures and copper mineralisation.

Independent reviewer Dr Tony Webster of GeoDiscovery Group concluded that Fiery Creek shares key geological features with major regional deposits such as Mt Oxide and Gunpowder. The work confirmed the presence of the Mt Oxide Chert marker horizon—which is spatially linked to major regional copper deposits—alongside favorable dolomitic and carbonaceous sedimentary host rocks and extensive late-stage faulting.

The work outlined three specific target areas. The southern Fiery Creek prospect features folded prospective host rocks intersected by fault systems with anomalous copper values. The western structural corridor encompasses the Hellfire and Fenceline prospects within a broad zone of structural complexity containing thickened sedimentary packages. The northwestern stratigraphic belt hosts repeated occurrences of prospective chert and carbonate units alongside the Piper and Falcon prospects.

To advance the framework, Aruma Resources has planned regional mapping and sampling programs across the Fiery Creek, Hellfire and Fenceline prospects.
