Aruma Resources Limited has completed six diamond drill holes for 1,046 metres as part of its ongoing Phase-2 drilling campaign at the Tillex Copper-Silver Project in Ontario, Canada.

The active campaign is designed to test the strike and depth extensions of the Tillex system beyond the existing drill-defined high-grade copper-silver pod. Drilling is currently underway on hole TX26-012, positioned approximately 100 metres south-west along strike from the southern extent of the known high-grade deposit.

The planned 3,600-metre program remains on schedule for completion in October, despite initial productivity delays caused by fractured and faulted ground conditions in certain sections of the target horizons. To date, 292 samples have been submitted for laboratory analysis, with first assay results expected within the coming two weeks.

All completed holes have successfully intersected the targeted stratigraphy, including argillite, porphyry, volcanic tuff and dacite-andesite lithologies. Geological logging has confirmed alteration and structural features that match the company’s evolving mineralisation model, which is being refined to assist with shallow copper-silver targeting and deeper exploration.

In parallel with the drilling program, Aruma has engaged Canadian-based Orix Geoscience Inc. to provide onsite geological management and conduct geological modeling. The company has also commenced a core review and re-sampling program of historical holes that were not previously assayed, starting with hole TX24-025 located to the west of the main deposit.

The Tillex Project includes more than 10,284 metres of historical diamond drilling and over A$4 million in prior exploration work completed by previous owners. Aruma expanded the project area to approximately 18.6 square kilometres through an acquisition from Good Mining Exploration Inc., extending the interpreted prospective strike length to approximately 2.4 kilometres. The initial maiden drilling program at the asset comprised 1,100 metres across approximately seven holes.

The ongoing work forms part of Aruma's broader strategy to build out the geological footprint of the Timmins-district asset.
