Aruma Resources Limited has executed a Native Title Mining Agreement with the Arabana Aboriginal Corporation for the Wilan Project in South Australia's Eromanga Basin, clearing the operational pathway for on-ground exploration across exploration licences EL6819 and EL6870.

The agreement establishes the formal framework for planned exploration activities while protecting cultural heritage values across the project area.

Building on earlier technical reviews that indicated broad heavy mineral sands potential, Aruma has completed a comprehensive geophysical review and reinterpretation. The work has defined a 40-kilometre arcuate magnetic anomaly modeled as a Pocket Beach depositional system.

“The review and reinterpretation of the Wilan Project has advanced our understanding of the area and has identified a potential regional scale HMS target extending for approximately 40-kilometres, revealing characteristics consistent with a Pocket Beach depositional system. The company will now submit a Program for Environmental Protection and Rehabilitation to the South Australian government. Aruma proposes to carry out a maiden aircore drilling program to test the 40-kilometre target once the environmental plan and all requisite regulatory approvals are secured.
