Asara Resources Lifts Kada Gold Resource 125% to 2.1 Million Ounces
Asara Resources Limited has expanded the total Mineral Resource estimate for the Kada Gold Project in Guinea by 1.16 million ounces, lifting the global inventory 125% to 92.9 million tonnes grading 0.70 grams per tonne gold for 2.08 million ounces of contained metal.
The updated estimate compares with the company's previous 2023 Mineral Resource position of 30.3 million tonnes at 0.95 grams per tonne gold for 0.92 million ounces, which was reported at a higher cut-off grade of 0.50 grams per tonne compared with 0.32 grams per tonne for the current update. The expanded inventory comprises 2.04 million ounces at the Massan deposit and 0.04 million ounces at the Bereko deposit.
Resource confidence has improved alongside the volume growth. Indicated Mineral Resources have increased more than sixfold from 0.22 million ounces to 1.27 million ounces, now representing 61% of total contained gold compared with 24% previously.
The upgraded resource base is underpinned by 72,648 metres of assay results from a broader 81,361-metre drilling campaign completed across the Massan deposit. The single year-long program doubled total project drilling metres, utilising up to six rigs operating concurrently. The work incorporated a new baseline structural model, updated bulk densities, and an optimised pit shell based on a US$3,500 per ounce gold price.
“This interim Mineral Resource Estimate for the Kada Gold Project is the culmination of over a year's drilling, which peaked with six rigs operating concurrently, delivering over 80,000m of systematic, carefully planned drilling. The result, 2.1Moz of gold, 125% increase on the Project maiden estimate from October 2023, is a tremendous geological achievement and a testament to the work of our entire team.”

The expanded Indicated resource category provides the geological foundation for a Definitive Feasibility Study, which Asara Resources is targeting for completion by the end of the second quarter of 2027. Fieldwork for the study is underway, supported by funds from a A$60 million institutional placement completed in May 2026 at A$0.125 per share.
Resource expansion work continues in the surrounding district. As regional activity progresses, Predictive Discovery Limited reported production results for the Kiniéro project within the surrounding district on 30 July 2026, pouring 54,252 ounces of gold with an average plant throughput of approximately 9.0 million tonnes per annum, while Asara maintains active drilling rigs at Massan to target further resource growth and test fresh-rock mineralisation beneath the central Indicated resource.
