Astral Resources NL completed a 92-hole reverse circulation drilling program spanning 5,229 metres at the Think Big deposit, part of the 100%-owned Feysville Gold Project located near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

All assay results from the in-fill program have been received. Standouts include 11 metres at 7.34 g/t gold from 38 metres in hole 26TBRC004, including 1 metre at 24.4 g/t gold from 39 metres. Hole 26TBRC040 returned 12 metres at 5.89 g/t gold from 30 metres, featuring a 1-metre interval at 57.1 g/t gold from 30 metres.

Additional results include 3 metres at 10.0 g/t gold from 21 metres, 2 metres at 9.53 g/t gold from 30 metres, and 9 metres at 6.01 g/t gold from 93 metres in hole 26TBRC032. Hole 26TBRC025 intersected 2 metres at 8.01 g/t gold from 35 metres, 12 metres at 2.99 g/t gold from 76 metres, and 12 metres at 4.14 g/t gold from 90 metres.

Mineral Mining Services Pty Ltd carried out the drilling program under a proposed mining joint venture. An in-house resource geologist is updating the mineralised wireframes with the new data to feed into a grade control model ahead of mine planning. A three-hole geotechnical diamond drilling program totaling 255 metres was also finished to support pit slope parameter design.

“We have made tremendous recent progress towards the development of the Think Big deposit as an early cash-flow opportunity through our proposed mining Joint Venture with MMS.”

— Marc Ducler, Managing Director

Permitting has advanced with the receipt of an approved Native Vegetation Clearing Permit. Objections relating to a miscellaneous licence application have been resolved, and the tenement is now expected to progress to grant.

Astral Resources holds a portfolio of gold projects in Western Australia that includes the Mandilla, Carnilya Hill and Koongie Park deposits.

Development of the Think Big deposit is scheduled for the March Quarter of 2027, with revenue expected in the June Quarter of 2027. Remaining critical path activities consist of finalising the Mine Development and Closure Plan and constructing the haul road intersection with the Goldfields Highway.
