Augustus Minerals Limited is mobilising a reverse circulation drilling rig to the Music Well Gold Project in Western Australia to test newly interpreted mineralisation geometries at the Clifton East and St Patrick’s Well prospects.

Previous drilling at Clifton East focused on overall northwest-dipping alteration zones. Structural measurements from recent diamond core indicate that higher gold grades correspond to pyritic quartz veins dipping obliquely to those broader structures. The upcoming program shifts drilling orientation by 180 degrees toward the northwest to test the frequency and continuity of these southeast-dipping vein sets.

The reverse circulation campaign will also drill the first holes at the St Patrick's Well prospect, where previous rock chip sampling returned multiple high-grade gold assays exceeding 30g/t across a 600-metre strike length.

Assays of core from the first diamond hole, designated MWD0001, are expected to be returned within four weeks.
