Financial performance for the first half of 2026 included an Adjusted EBITDA of US$440.5 million, a 135% increase year-over-year. Net income reached US$312.8 million for the period, supported by operating income of US$380.6 million and non-cash gains from gold hedge mark-to-market adjustments.
Second-quarter production totalled 75,437 GEO, reflecting scheduled mine sequencing across several operations. While production at the MSG mine declined 16% quarter-over-quarter, the company is actively investing in underground infrastructure and primary development to transition the mining method to a bottom-up approach. Aura expects to complete the production turnaround at the MSG mine starting in 2027.
Consolidated all-in sustaining costs (AISC) for the first half reached US$1,906 per GEO. The company maintains its consolidated 2026 AISC guidance of US$1,720 to US$1,865 per GEO, anticipating improvements in the second half of the year as operations benefit from higher-grade material and ongoing development programs.
Construction at the Era Dorada project in Guatemala continues to advance, with earthmoving now 60% complete as of June 30, 2026. Cumulative investment in the project reached US$15.3 million by the end of the quarter. Additionally, the company concluded the sale of the non-operating São Francisco mine for US$9.0 million, with US$3.0 million in cash proceeds received as of mid-year.
