Aura Minerals Inc. has entered into a syndicated loan facility at the holding company level with an aggregate principal amount of USD 200 million, arranged by Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Itaú BBA Assessoria Financeira S.A.

The agreement carries a five-year maturity and a two-year grace period, bearing interest at a rate of the Secured Overnight Financing Rate plus 2.70% per year. Aura intends to direct the net proceeds toward payments to suppliers and the prepayment of costs associated with producing and selling its goods.

Citigroup Global Markets and Itaú BBA Assessoria Financeira acted as joint lead arrangers and bookrunners for the financing package.

“We are pleased to announce this USD 200 million syndicated loan facility, a further step in strengthening Aura's capital structure and extending our financial flexibility as we keep increasing our production towards our target of producing over 600k GEO per year in the medium term, including the ongoing construction of Era Dorada and expansion of production capacity at Almas and the expected expansion of Borborema. Securing this Loan at a SOFR + 2.70% reflects our operational momentum, robust cash generation and disciplined growth strategy. At Aura, our approach to capital allocation remains balanced and consistent — combining prudent liability management with continued investment in our growth pipeline, while maintaining the financial discipline that has defined our track record. This transaction further diversifies our funding sources and supports the current phase of value creation for our shareholders under the Aura 360 culture.”

The fresh capital feeds into a wider corporate pipeline that includes the Era Dorada project in Guatemala, which the board approved for development and construction on April 13, 2026, with an estimated capital expenditure of USD 382.0 million and operations expected to begin in the first half of 2028.

The company previously outlined potential development scenarios where annualized gold equivalent production could exceed 600,000 ounces over coming years, supported by assets such as Borborema, MSG, Era Dorada, and Matupá.
