Aureka Intersects High-Grade Gold and Silver at St Arnaud Comstock

Aureka Limited has returned high-grade gold and silver assay results from diamond drilling at the St Arnaud Comstock Project in Victoria, highlighted by hole NED032 intercepting 4.4 metres at 8.9 grams per tonne gold and 57.8 grams per tonne silver from 102.8 metres.
The intercept within the main Comstock shear includes a 0.3-metre interval grading 65.3 grams per tonne gold from 106.2 metres, with a duplicate sample returning 95.6 grams per tonne. The mineralisation lies approximately 48 metres below the southern portion of the main Comstock pit surface within an area covered by a recently submitted production licence application.
Additional shallow gold mineralisation was intersected across the Walkers Zone. Hole NED034 returned 0.8 metres at 5.65 grams per tonne gold from 19.25 metres and 0.7 metres at 57 grams per tonne gold from 56.65 metres. Hole NED035 yielded 2.65 metres at 5.78 grams per tonne gold from 20.5 metres, including 0.35 metres at 34.2 grams per tonne gold from 21.5 metres, while hole NED033 intersected 0.3 metres at 21.3 grams per tonne gold from 35.6 metres and 1.9 metres at 5.63 grams per tonne gold from 56.5 metres.
“In 2025 one of our highlight holes was an extension to the north of the Comstock pit with 1m at 65g/t Au2, now these results extend mineralisation to the south and notably within the production licence area applied for. Results such as these between 60g/t and up to 95g/t reinforce our strategy at Comstock for smaller scale opportunistic first up production given the brownfield site, supportive gold price environment, and importantly the availability of milling capacity at the nearby Wedderburn Mill where we have a binding processing agreement”
— James Gurry, Managing Director
The Comstock Project currently maintains an inferred JORC Mineral Resource Estimate of 56,000 ounces of gold, which the company aims to expand through ongoing drilling. Aureka Limited will incorporate recent drilling results into a future JORC estimate review for the Comstock Project.
The grade tenor and lack of significant sulphides indicate free-milling gold characteristics. Aureka Limited will conduct a metallurgical testing program for the St Arnaud project to confirm free milling gold characteristics. Ore processing is intended to utilise capacity at the Wedderburn Mill, where Aureka holds a binding toll milling agreement.
