Aureka Reaffirms Irvine Exploration Targets Following Geophysical Review

Aureka Limited has updated its geological interpretation for the Irvine Gold Project in western Victoria, with geophysicist Barry Murphy reaffirming exploration targets ranging from 236,000 to 545,000 ounces of gold.
The revised interpretation follows a recent review of drone magnetics, regional magnetics and induced polarisation data sets. Using multi-scale edge analysis, Dr Murphy mapped subsurface geological boundaries and identified major north-west trending strike-parallel faults alongside numerous previously hidden north-east to south-west trending cross-cutting structures. These emerging orthogonal structures show an apparent association with known mineralization, providing increased targeting confidence across the project area.
The updated interpretation reinforces the recently revised exploration targets, which comprise 1.33 million to 2.66 million tonnes at 2.0 g/t to 2.3 g/t gold for 85,000 to 197,000 ounces in advanced targets, and 2.35 million to 4.7 million tonnes at the same grade range for 151,000 to 348,000 ounces in conceptual targets. These figures supplement the project's current inferred JORC resource of 398,000 ounces of gold.
Aureka positions the Irvine Gold Project as its flagship asset within the Stawell Gold Corridor in western Victoria, located 16 kilometres from the operating five-million-ounce Stawell Gold Mine. The company has advanced the property through extensive drilling totaling 59 kilometres since discovering the asset in 2017.
“Barry's work highlights the unexplored potential of this gold-rich geology, and at the same time, gives us a means by which we can identify credible targets to test with our on-going drill programs and grow the Irvine Gold Project to its full potential.”
— James Gurry, Managing Director
Ongoing diamond drilling is currently underway at the Irvine Project, targeting down-dip continuity to mineralisation at North Resolution surrounding the existing resource. Activity across the wider district continues alongside these efforts, with North Stawell Minerals reporting gold results at its North Stawell project in July 2026, including 1.0 metre at 2.05 g/t gold at Darlington.
