Aurelia Metals has received a Notice of Determination from Cobar Shire Council approving an increase in the Peak processing plant throughput rate from approximately 800ktpa to 1.2Mtpa.

The development consent is the final regulatory approval required to operate the Peak processing plant at the expanded rate. This higher operating capacity is enabled by the Tailings & Water Management Project, Tertiary Ball Mill Project, and Crushing & Materials Handling Expansion Project.

Aurelia operates three underground base metal mines across its Peak and Federation operations in western New South Wales. In addition to these producing assets, the company is progressing the Great Cobar Project, a consented high-grade copper development located at Peak, with first ore production scheduled for fiscal 2028.

Commissioning of the Tertiary Ball Mill Project at Peak is expected in the first quarter of fiscal 2027.
