Auris Minerals Limited has received initial 5m composite results from an air core drilling program at its Morck Well Project, located 130 kilometres north of Meekatharra in Western Australia's Bryah Basin.

The campaign comprised 22 air core holes for a total of 1,861 metres across the Jacques East and Frenchys South prospects. At Jacques East, 16 holes for 1,273 metres tested the extent of previously intersected high-grade supergene mineralisation and structural controls. Results from this prospect include a maximum intercept of 15 metres at 0.54g/t gold from 25 metres in hole JEAC0030.

At Frenchys South, six holes for 588 metres evaluated gold distribution and tenor along a 1.4-kilometre mineralised trend. Drilling returned a maximum significant intersection of 10 metres at 0.50g/t gold from 35 metres in hole FRAC0014.

Auris is currently collecting more than 100 one-metre samples from the significant 5m composite intersections, which graded 0.1g/t gold or higher, to better characterise the gold distribution.

“We are encouraged by the latest drilling. Further sampling of the significant 5m composite intervals at one metre intervals is currently underway which will to give the company a better understanding of any high grade - nuggety gold mineralisation due to the ability to take a larger, more representative sample at 1m intervals,” said Managing Director Mike Hendriks.
