Austin Metals has intersected 12m at 1.67 g/t gold from 21m, including a high-grade 1m interval grading 12.70 g/t gold from 26m, in reverse circulation drilling at the Brunswick Hill prospect within the Austin Gold Project in Western Australia's Murchison region.

The 21-hole program, which totaled 4,215 metres across the Brunswick Hill and Mt Sandy prospects, followed target-definition work completed earlier in the year.

At the Mt Sandy prospect, drilling returned 4m at 1.07 g/t gold from 32m in hole 26MSRC008, including 2m at 1.86 g/t gold from 33m with a peak 1m assay of 3.03 g/t gold. Hole 26MSRC003 intersected 2m at 1.61 g/t gold from 32m and 6m at 0.35 g/t gold from 99m.

Micro-XRF analysis on selected RC chip samples confirmed that gold mineralisation at Mt Sandy is hosted within a differentiated, high-titanium dolerite sill enriched in actinolite and chlorite. Austin Metals noted that the setting shares similarities with the geological model at Ramelius Resources Ltd's Break of Day deposit, where gold is associated with quartz-sulphide lodes cutting a high-titanium host.

At Brunswick Hill, drilling confirmed BIF-hosted gold mineralisation associated with northeast- and northwest-trending structural intersections. The results validated the structural targeting model, which underpins the identification of additional targets along the project's BIF stratigraphy.

Austin Metals plans to conduct follow-up drilling to test cross-cutting lode structures at Mt Sandy, evaluate the lateral extent of high-grade mineralisation in hole 26BHRC006, and test Banded Iron Formation-hosted targets extending south along the Brunswick Hill trend. Additionally, a UAV high-resolution magnetic survey is scheduled to begin in October to refine geological contacts, faults, and auriferous structures across the project area. Elsewhere in the Murchison district, Caprice Resources Ltd reported drill results from the Island project in August 2026, including an intercept of 5.4m at 6.4 g/t gold.
