Austral Gold Doubles Half-Year Production to 11,648 GEOs on Casposo Restart

Austral Gold Limited nearly doubled its consolidated half-year production to 11,648 gold equivalent ounces in the six months ended 30 June 2026, compared to 5,996 ounces in the prior corresponding period.
The production increase reflects the restart of operations at Casposo alongside Guanaco. The expanded output generated US$66.6 million in revenue for the half, approximately three times the level recorded in the first half of 2025. This top-line growth delivered a gross profit of US$33.3 million at a 50% margin and a net profit after tax of US$15.5 million, marking a complete turnaround from a net loss a year earlier. No interim dividend has been declared for the period.
The stronger operating performance improved the balance sheet, with cash and cash equivalents rising to US$20.3 million as of 30 June 2026, up from US$10.5 million at the end of December 2025. Total financial debt was reduced from US$26.6 million to US$22.0 million over the same timeframe, leaving net financial debt at US$1.7 million and net assets at US$50.6 million.
Subsequent to the period end, Austral Gold released an updated technical report extending the life of the Guanaco mine in Chile to 14 years, featuring an after-tax net present value of US$192.1 million.
In addition to its producing assets, Austral Gold holds the 100%-owned Juncal Silver-Gold Project in the Antofagasta Region of Chile, located near its Guanaco-Amancaya operations. Fieldwork at Juncal remains on schedule for the second and third quarters of 2026, encompassing Phase 2 induced polarization surveys and a Phase 3 program comprising 10,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling.
