Australian Gold and Copper Ltd has returned broad base and precious metal intercepts from ongoing diamond drilling at the Evergreen Prospect, part of the Browns Reef Project in New South Wales.

Assays from the northernmost hole drilled to date, 26DDBR007, intersected 21 metres at 0.4 g/t gold, 5 g/t silver, and 6.4% lead and zinc from 229 metres depth. The intercept included a 12-metre section grading 0.5 g/t gold, 6 g/t silver, and 8.2% lead and zinc from 233 metres, alongside a 1.4-metre high-grade interval from 241 metres yielding 0.7 g/t gold, 16 g/t silver, and 22.6% lead and zinc.

Central and southern holes across the system also returned polymetallic intersections. Hole 26DDBR003 intersected multiple zones, including 6 metres at 5.9% lead and zinc from 338 metres and 3 metres at 0.2 g/t gold, 15 g/t silver, 9.4% lead and zinc, and 0.3% copper from 360 metres. The southernmost hole assayed to date, 26DDBR002, returned 5 metres at 0.2 g/t gold, 12 g/t silver, 7.9% lead and zinc, and 0.3% copper from 310 metres.

Diamond drilling at Evergreen is now complete, with 17 holes completed for 5,631.9 metres since mid-April. A reverse circulation drill rig has been mobilised to target the shallow weathered oxide zone as the company advances the prospect toward an initial Mineral Resource Estimate.

“AGC's strategy at Evergreen is clearly working, with new assay results continuing to demonstrate the scale and strength of the mineral system. Importantly, drilling is returning mineralisation across multiple structural positions, including the northernmost assayed hole, deeper holes and the southernmost hole assayed to date.”

The company holds a 2,600 square kilometre landholding across the South Cobar Basin. The Browns-Evergreen project was acquired in 2025 as a second resource opportunity located 30 kilometres from the company's Achilles discovery.

Mineralisation at Evergreen remains open to the north, south, at depth, and up-dip toward the surface. Australian Gold and Copper awaits assay results for a further eight completed holes, including northern step-out holes 26DDBR011 and 26DDBR016.

Elsewhere in the district, Aurelia Metals released its annual Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve Statement in August 2026, lifting its Group Mineral Resource estimate after depletion to 30.6 million tonnes across its regional operations.
