Australian Gold and Copper Hits 17m at 5.3g/t Gold, 163g/t Silver and 17.3% Lead-Zinc at Evergreen

Australian Gold and Copper Ltd has confirmed a high-grade gold, silver, and base metal discovery in the western zone of the Evergreen prospect at its South Cobar Project in New South Wales, highlighted by drill hole 26DDBR017.
The hole returned 17 metres at 5.3 grams per tonne gold, 163 grams per tonne silver, 0.8 percent copper, and 17.3 percent lead and zinc from 128 metres depth. The intercept includes an internal high-grade zone of 8 metres grading 10.4 grams per tonne gold, 311 grams per tonne silver, 1.2 percent copper, and 29.0 percent lead and zinc from 129 metres.
The new assay results extend high-grade mineralization approximately 150 metres south of previously reported mineralization in hole 26DDBR013, confirming continuity across both oxide and sulfide domains. The western mineralised zone is interpreted to trend northwest and remains open along strike and at depth.
“We interpret this new western zone to have now been intersected over approximately 150 metres of strike, from recently reported oxide gold-silver mineralisation in 26DDBR013 to high- grade sulfide mineralisation in 26DDBR017. This is a major step forward in understanding the scale and tenor of the Evergreen system.”

Australian Gold and Copper acquired the Browns-Evergreen prospect in 2025 as a second resource opportunity located 30 kilometres from its established Achilles discovery. The company's Achilles discovery, made in 2024 within the South Cobar Project, hosts an initial 38.5 million ounce silver equivalent resource with 58 percent in the indicated category.
A reverse circulation drill rig is currently active at Evergreen to test shallow targets and near-surface mineralization along strike to the north and south, including a scissor hole designed to assist with geometric interpretation and true width. The company will report further assay results from completed diamond holes and the ongoing reverse circulation program as they become available.
